- CHINA. Kirin. Pattern 10 Cash, ND (1901). PCGS Genuine--Tooled, AU Details Secure Holder. CL-Unlisted; CCC-475; Y-174; Duan-1267. VERY RARE. Based on the traditional square hole cash design, first 10 Cash type struck for the province. Manchu "Chi" mintmark in center of both sides. Light scratches between 10 o'clock and 12 o'clock on obverse near the periphery from long ago now toned over and hardly distracting. Despite the noted defect a lovely example sure to add depth to the next collection it enters. Estimate: $1,200 - $1,600. Provenance: From the Q. David Bowers Collection. Ex: R. B. White.
