- 1883 Newburgh Headquarters medal. Musante GW-991, Baker-455. White Metal. SP-64 (PCGS). 31.4 mm. Exceptional eye appeal, with fully brilliant and deeply prooflike surfaces. Unpierced, which is unusual for this scarce piece. The Musante obverse plate is incorrect for this type, though very similar and easily mistaken. This obverse bears the dates 1783 and 1883 flanking the portrait, which is the most readily noticeable difference.
