- 1803 Draped Bust Cent. S-257. Rarity-2. Noyes Die State A. Small Date, Large Fraction. VF-30 BN (NGC). CAC. A handsome mid grade survivor, this piece exhibits warm, even, copper-brown patina with a tinge of crimson-brown color also intermingled over both sides. The wear is evenly distributed, allowing one to appreciate considerable boldness of detail in almost all areas. A bit of old, inactive verdigris and a few scattered abrasions are insignificant for a Draped Bust cent that saw this extensive circulation.
