详细说明: Among the very FINEST graded! While the Philadelphia mint churned out nearly 176 million nickels in 1963, little care was taken for striking quality. Full Step designated examples are VERY RARE today, ndeed, after 32+ years of grading just 42 examples have graded in MS66 or finer at PCGS. The present GEM has a bold satiny mint luster and a delicate iridescent patina over the original nickel-silver surfaces. Every detail of Monticello, including all six steps are fully rendered by an exacting blow from the dies. As you rotate the satiny surfaces in a light, soft pastel iridescent toning comes out, giving this SUPERB coin a great look! PCGS 4, NGC 0. Just a single example is graded finer. Only one has sold in auction, an example that did not have this coin's great look, realizing $1,704 in our September 2019 Regency Auction.
