- FROM THE UNFORGETTABLE COLLECTION A magnificent example, to call it a SUPERB GEM does not do this Iowa half dollar justice. The surfaces are immaculate! Even with the aid of a strong glass they appear FLAWLESS. A strong luster blooms on both sides, a bold pearlescent satiny brilliance amplifies the pastel iridescent toning on the obverse, while the reverse is mostly untoned original silver. The eye appeal is incredible. PCGS 16, NGC 5. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000. The last one sold half a decade ago, realizing $3,055. There is a SINGLE MS69 finer at PCGS, a coin that has never appeared in auction, and would likely bring a strong five figure bid if it did.
