详细说明: A satiny B-3! This one is within the Rea et al Census, and just below the Tompkins listing. This VERY CHOICE example is totally original and very pleasing for the type and date in this grade. Warm, earthen blue and orange-gold patina graces both sides, accented by a wonderful underlying satin mint frost. Well struck overall, there is some minor weakness seen in some areas of the design, visible only with a glass. There are just a few tiny ticks that keep this coin out of a GEM grade holder. The eye appeal is incredible! PCGS 23, NGC 24, CAC 6. The most recent PCGS/CAC MS64 sold in auction nearly five years ago, realizing $10,800 in April 2018. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $11,500 and the CAC CPG value is $9,900. PCGS has graded fewer than 20 higher in all grades: 1 in MS64+; 11 in MS65; 2 in MS65+; 5 in MS66.
