- GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1560-66). London Mint; im: star. Elizabeth I. PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield. S-2591; N-2023. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust left; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. A minor, natural planchet flaw is noted, but an otherwise extraordinary example of the type, featuring a rather strong strike for issue and a deep cabinet tone highlighted by a colorful palette and some underlying luster.
