- Alluring Near-Mint Alexander I Pattern Ruble as a Novodel RUSSIA. Silver Ruble Pattern Novodel, 1801-CNB AI. St. Petersburg (Banking) Mint. Alexander I. PCGS SPECIMEN-58. Bit-H645 (R2). Plain edge. Presenting very diagnostic die cracks running vertically on the obverse, almost bisecting the "long neck" bust of the czar, and on the reverse, extending from the eagle's scepter, this VERY RAREnovodel striking offers some enchanting gunmetal gray toning with some hints of violet sprinkled throughout.
