OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS. PR-63, REALLY? Ok, we get it, kind of. Under strong magnification, we note some faint hairlines in the fields which are nicely covered by pretty tones of navy, tangerine, jade and gold. There are no contact marks. An incredibly clean example for the assigned grade. Incredibly reflective with deep mirrored fields. With a mintage of just 543 coins, this date presents a great opportunity to put a tough issue into your Proof type or date collection. PCGS 43, NGC 34. The PCGS Price Guide lists $1,250 as the value. Two examples were sold this year, one in May for $870 and another for $750 in January.
