- A lovely coin that has a full, crisp strike on the Liberty Bell, accounting for its highly desirable FBL designation. Rich tangerine-gold, crimson, pale blue and lilac hues mix with verdant accents that are brought out by a bold luster. While a glass reveals some minor contact, the worst of which are well hidden under the patina on the upper right area of the Liberty Bell. The eye appeal is still quite impressive, and this date is excessively rare any finer! PCGS 37, NGC 8. The most recent example brought $840 in the 2021 FUN auction and one sold in the April 2019 CSNS sale for $900. The current PCGS price is $950 and it jumps to $25,000 in MS67 FBL.
