1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Judd-952, Pollock-1095. Rarity-7-. Silver. Plain Edge. Proof-61 (PCGS). CAC. OGH. The obverse is of Liberty’s bust facing right, with no star on her tiara. Legend above with Motto on raised ribbon below. For the reverse an open agricultural wreath tied with a ribbon at the base, above is STANDARD, within is 50 / CENTS / 1870. Rich peripheral blue toning surrounds the obverse and reverse, which fades to russet and bright silver to the center of the obverse and reverse.
