Truly a high end GEM DMPL Morgan dollar. Exceedingly deep mirrors nearly blind you from all over. We don't really see deeper mirrors on most 1885's. While the mirrors enjoy amazing clarity, they do reveal some very tiny and scattered ticks (as you would expect). Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. There is great contrast between the devices and the fields, giving this coin a near CAMEO look when you rotate it in a light. Needless to say, the eye appeal is stunning! PCGS 371, NGC 196, CAC 45. The last PCGS MS65 DMPL CAC sold in our October 2018 Premier Session for $1,100 and a 66 DMPL CAC in our November 2018 Regency Auction for $2,820.
