- PORTUGAL. 10,000 Reis, 1888. NGC MS-63. Fr-152; KM-520; Gomes-L1.17.16. SCARCE. Tied with two other pieces for finest graded at NGC with none seen at PCGS. Third lowest mintage of the eleven year series at 7,000 and with the highest catalog value in Krause for the type in uncirculated. Highly reflective fields produce a semi-cameo effect, especially on the reverse. The portrait is virtually free of marks, with the open areas of the field far better preserved than usually encountered for the type.
