详细说明: This is a GORGEOUS GEM example of this VERY RARE No Motto silver dollar Proof date. An estimated 50-100 Proofs were struck, and precious few are known in GEM or finer grade. Incredibly reflective, glassy mirrored fields gleam in the light from below a rich layer of multicolored toning. Deep blue, violet, and silver-gray toning dominates with orange-gold toning toward the centers, surrounding the sharply struck up devices. The surfaces are exceptionally clean, even for the assigned GEM grade. While the toning is deep and rich, it is not dark, nor does it obscure the amazing reflection. The eye appeal is AMAZING! Only 50-100 Proofs were struck. PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 3. No CAC-approved example has ever sold in auction. Only two are finer in the designation and neither has ever as well. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $40,000. This GEM belongs in a fantastic collection of Proof type coins, Proof Seated dollars, or just a box of 20 special gems. Good luck. Cert.
