1723 Rosa Americana Halfpenny. Martin 3.1-D.1, W-1226. Rarity-6. Uncrowned Rose. Fine-12 (PCGS). 55.71 grains. A deep golden-brown and olive-gold example of a rare variety. The surfaces are uniformly rough throughout, with heavy rim scrapes obscuring REX on the obverse and UTILE D on the reverse.
