- 1798 Draped Bust Cent. S-159. Rarity-3. Style I Hair. VF-25 (PCGS). A medley of chocolate brown and autumnal tones paints the complexion of this wholesome and intriguing Sheldon-159 example. A late die state with all cracks bold, including the dramatically vertical breaks in the left obverse field. The surfaces are peppered with numerous trivial marks that are individually insignificant but collectively worthy of mention. An overall pleasing and scarce piece that specialists will surely appreciate. Provenance: From Ira & Larry Goldberg's Pre-Long Beach Auction of February 2008, lot 1174.
