O-114a. Certified just below the condition census for the variety, this coin would have been called "Choice Brilliant Uncirculated" in the days before 3rd party grading. Fully struck, with a bold luster, this coin has a light iridescent toning. The reverse shows some die flaws around the eagle's head, appearing as a patch of tiny incuse marks and some evidence of die grease. PCGS 31, NGC 29. The last PCGS MS62 sold for $2,820 in the 2017 ANA auction. The current CU value is listed at $2,700. A neat type coin or just below condition census quality coin for the die variety collector. Cert.
