1857-O Liberty Eagle. Winter Variety One, the only known dies. EF-45 (PCGS). Blended honey-gold and lemon-gold surfaces. Traces of satiny luster can be seen around the stars, letters, and numerals. Only 5,500 were minted, and it's likely that few of these have survived as examples have been certified by PCGS on only 59 occasions over a span of 2-1/2 decades.
