详细说明: THE PERFECTION COLLECTION OF CAPPED BUST QUARTERS The B-4 is a common die marriage, but this MS65+ ranks near the top of both the Rea-Koenings-Haroutunian and the Tompkins Condition Census listings. Struck from the early, or "perfect" die state, with no trace of die rust on the obverse and Tomkins reverse state 2 with a minor crack through the C in the denomination. Boldly lustrous surfaces radiate with a brilliant cartwheel brilliance under varied blue/gray and rose iridescent toning. The colors do come out nicely when rotated in a light and the cartwheels capture the subtle differences in hue. The devices show crisp, full striking definition on both sides. There are no serious marks or traces of contact of any kind visible to the naked eye, and the aid of a strong glass is required to locate the one or two microscopic ticks. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 15, NGC 24, CAC 9. There are just 4 in MS65+; only one of these ever sold in auction three years ago for $30,000. There are a number of APRS for PCGS MS65 CAC (no "+") in the $32,400 to $38,188 range. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $35,000. There are just 10 graded higher at PCGS.
