详细说明: FROM THE WOLVERINE COLLECTION. An exquisite SUPERB GEM Indian Head cent! Luminous mirrored fields are exceptionally flashy, bold, and highly reflective with bold clarity and they are ultra clean. The devices are fully struck with razor sharp definition throughout and accents of frostiness that create a slight contrast between the reliefs and icy fields. Both sides show off a warm iridescent overtone in shades of emerald and ruby that complement the otherwise deep brick red coloration. The eye appeal is stupendous and adding to the allure is the old green tag holder. PCGS 6, NGC 4. This coin has been off the market since April 2009, when it brought $4,025. Since then, one sold in the 2010 FUN auction for $3,738 and one sold in February 2018 for $10,800. The current PCGS Price Guide is listed at $8,500 and we would not be surprised if the realized price comes close. Only two coins are graded finer, both PR67+ RD and the only one of those to sell in auction brought $11,750 in our Regency Auction 31. We like the look of this coin a lot.
