- 1745/4-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-24b. Rarity-8. First Semester. EF-45 (PCGS). 32.2 grains. Softness at the top of the primary digit 5 in the date does not prevent appreciation of remnants of the underlying 4 when the coin is examined with the aid of a loupe. An internal cud break in the upper right reverse field should not be mistaken for a second semester period - this is a first semester issue. Attractive pearl-gray patina with much of the silvering intact. Traces of softness in isolated peripheral areas hardly interfere with otherwise bold Choice EF detail. Provenance: From the Sydney F.
