Immaculate Heaton Mint Specimen Kwangtung 50 Cents CHINA. Kwangtung. 3 Mace 6 Candareens (50 Cents), ND (1890-1908). Heaton Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-66 Gold Shield. L&M-134; K-27; KM-Y-202; WS-0943. Exceeded by just one example seen at PCGS--a SPECIMEN-67 that sold in our 2012 Hong Kong auction--this glistening minor presents incredibly argent surfaces that are free from tone and transfixingly mirrored. The popular Heaton mint issue, this elegant piece presents great RARITY and desirability, and exhibits the design that would become the standard for the dragon coinage moving forward, as the English on the dragon side and an all Chinese characters other side was viewed much more favorably by the populace.
