- 1740-Q Sou Marque. Perpignan Mint. Vlack-171, var. AU-50 (PCGS). This Vlack unlisted variety has no stop between the hat différentand date on the obverse. Weak at the lower border on that side, upper reverse as well, the mintmark is among those design elements not present. Otherwise we note bold AU detail, the surfaces with splashes of olive and russet to dominant pinkish-gray patina. Much silvering remains. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
