- Netherlands--Holland. 1589 Lion Daalder. Dav-8838, Delm-831. MS-63 (PCGS). Pearl gray in the centers with some hints of rainbow toning along the borders. Far better preserved than most and presently the single finest graded example known to PCGS for the issue. What really sets this coin apart is the magnificently strong strike imparting very nearly complete details to the devices on both sides of the coin, with a fully struck lion on the reverse.
