- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of George IV Silver Medal, 1821. PCGS SP-62 Secure Holder. 35 mm; 17.38 gms. BHM-1071; Eimer-1146b. By E. Avern after B. Pistrucci. Laureate head of George IV left; Reverse: King enthroned at right being crowned by Victory while Brittania, Hibernia and Scotia watch from left. A closely made copy of less competent artistry. Carefully handled with no wear to high relief and only trivial marks in fields. Surfaces darkly toned over flashing lustrous surfaces with some vibrant blue highlights and lighter russet tones on reverse. Estimate: $350 - $500. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection.
