- The 13-D has a relatively low mintage of 393,500, and it is scarcer than other dates with a similar mintage, especially as your approach the GEM level. Exceptionally brilliant golden surfaces gleam brilliantly all over. The devices are all wonderfully sharp and crisp. Just a few minor ticks keep this from a full GEM grade, but the visual impact is essentially that of a higher grade. PCGS 1729, NGC 920, CAC 106. NGC has graded only 38 in MS64+ and 160 finer. Only a single NGC MS64+ ever sold in auction, and was not CAC approved. A PCGS MS64+ CAC sold in June 2021 for $3,240. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,750. Just 17 coins have gotten CAC approval in higher grade, 16 in MS65/65+ and 1 in 66/66+. Do not let this lustrous beauty pass you by, a great coin for any set of CAC Saints! Cert.
