- FRANCE. Mouton d'Or, ND (ca. 1355). Jean II (the Good) (1350-64). PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Fr-280; Dupl-291; Ciani-354. Beautiful broad flan gold piece. Pascal lamb showing every curl of wool in relief and legends full and legible. Toned golden orange surfaces showing no handling wear and only a few tiny trivial contact marks which must be hunted for. A very pleasing high grade example. Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
