Glittering mirrored fields dance in the light, reflecting through a lovely pale gold, pearly iridescent peach tone. The devices are sharply struck and stand out against the reflective fields. Close examination with a strong glass reveals some old stray hairlines on both sides, but they are totally acceptable for the assigned grade.. Only 600 proofs were struck, and the circulation strike mintage was a low 16,000 pieces. PCGS 44, NGC 50, CAC 8. Do not let the population reports fool you, going back to 1999, only NINE examples have ever sold in auction! The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,225 and that sounds too cheap given its scarcity! Cert. Number 32735524 PCGS # 5568
