- CUBA. Cuba - Mexico. 8 Reales, ND (1872-77). PCGS VF-30. KM-R3. Countermark: Variety B, Long and thin key. Applied twice to the obverse of 1876-Pi MH Mexico Republic 8 Reales (KM-377.12). A rather RAREmint for this series with very few examples of any denomination being recorded. The countermark is bold and nearly complete on a moderately worn host coin displaying light gray tone with slate patina amongst the devices.
