1859 Indian Cent. Proof-65 Cameo (NGC). Gorgeous quality for this important single year type coin and one of the few Cameo examples seen. Furthermore the Gem grade is always a delight and seldom offered. The strike is sharp throughout, with good contrast between the frosted devices and mirrored reflective fields. Free of all but a hint of carbon on Liberty's neck and a splendid, jewel-like example of this elusive cent. Mintage of 800 pieces, and importantly only a single Ultra Cameo coin has been graded by NGC.
