FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION. A beautifully toned Premium grade GEM! Varied shades of blue blend over the brilliant, reflective mirrored fields. Areas of rainbow toning join the colorful melange on both sides, imparting a highly seductive palette that is just a delight to behold. The exacting definition of the devices stands out against the smoothness of the reflective fields. There is one spot on the reverse, which is all we can figure kept this wonderful GEM from a CAC bean. Only 813 Proofs were struck. PCGS 1, NGC 0. Just six coins are finer in the designation. This GEM sold for a very cheap $1,140 when it sold in June 2018. Think about it: with just a half dozen graded finer, and a mintage so low, fundamentally a PR66+ should bring closer to the Collectors Universe value of $1,750.
