A truly SUPERB GEM 1940 Philly mint Walker. Boldly lustrous surfaces glow brilliantly and vibrantly all over on both sides of this exceptional GEM. Sharply struck devices show full definition on Liberty's hand and the eagle's feathers. Both sides have a subtle halo of rainbow iridescent toning framing mostly silver -golden centers. There are a couple of the tiniest ticks, visible only with the aid of a strong glass. VERY RARE in this lofty state of preservation and UNIQUE finer. PCGS 29, NGC 21. There has not been a single non-CAC MS68 sold since April 2018, where one sold for $4,800, prior to that, one sold for $4,712. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,000.
