GERMANY. Frankfurt. 2 Talers, 1840. PCGS MS-62 PL Secure Holder. KM-325; Dav-639; J-13. RAREone year issue, from a mintage of 649 pieces, struck to commemorate the new mint opening in 1840. Reflective in the fields with several crossed streaks of root beer brown tone on the obverse that transition to a more russet color the edges.
