- What a wonderful SUPERB GEM example! A highly lustrous example radiates with a satiny frost and flashy cartwheel brilliance on both sides. A delicate overtone of powder blue, and clear apricot-rose gold really pops in a light. The surfaces are ultra clean and free of distractions and the devices are incredibly well struck. In all, this is an amazingly eye appealing example that is worthy of a strong bid and placement in a fantastic Morgan set. PCGS 217, NGC 152, CAC 77. There are 51 in MS67+ at PCGS with just five finer. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $7,050 in our 2022 Central States Regency Auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $6,750 and it jumps to $26,500 in MS68. We expect this beautifully, though subtly toned SUPERB GEM to bring a very strong bid when the hammer falls.
