- MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1837/6-Ga JG. Guadalajara Mint. NGC FINE-15. KM-370.5. RARE OVERDATE variety that remains clear and bold. Well circulated but with even, honest wear and strong old cabinet toning. No overly distracting marks appear in the fields. We sold what is undoubtedly the finest example of this variety, graded MS-66 by NGC, in March 2011 for $3,500 hammer. Estimate: $200 - $300.
