详细说明: 1888 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-65+ (PCGS). CAC. Glorious cabinet toning takes the form of blended reddish-russet, cobalt blue and salmon-pink iridescence on the obverse. The reverse - equally attractive - sports steel-blue peripheral color that passes through sandy-mauve before yielding to soft pearl-gray in the center. Fully struck with an intense mint finish and impressive preservation. A beautiful survivor from this 832-piece Proof issue, and made even more desirable by the low circulation strike mintage of the 1888 Liberty Seated quarter. Approval by CAC and provenance to the fabulous Millholland Collection surely adds further appeal. Provenance: From the Collection of James Allaire Millholland, 1842-1911.
