1865 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Secure Holder. The obverse and reverse are fully brilliant and the Proof strike is precise and full, with each device showing frosty contrast with the boldly mirrored and reflective fields. Furthermore, there are no spots or handling marks to detract from the eye appeal. It is likely that 300 to 400 1865 three-cent silver coins survive in various Proof grades, but PCGS has only recorded&nbsp;<em>two </em>grading events with the Deep Cameo designation, both at the same grade level. A specialist's coin in the finest obtainable condition.
