- While not particularly scarce, everyone loves a branch-mint gold eagle, this being a lustrous New Orleans example. The reverse seems particularly energetic. The fields on either side are heavily abraded -- a common situation for contemporary branch-mint gold -- but a delightful strike surpasses expectations.
