A truly SUPERB example of this early date "trime". Our sister company Legend Numismatics, having built the #1 all time set of three cent silvers, has taught us how these come, and this one is among the finer 1852s they have ever handled! This coin is absolutely beautiful and virtually PRISTINE! Satiny and bright with full luster and just a whisper of champagne, teal and russet toning that spans both sides. Well struck, every detail is razor sharp and the surfaces are remarkably smooth as would be expected at this lofty state of preservation. Despite a huge mintage of over 18.5 million pieces, this date is RARE this fine and excessively so any finer. PCGS 31, NGC 19, CAC 15. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,750 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $5,000.
