- A very rare date Seated quarter, one of only 28,000 struck and a date that saw extensive circulation and few survive today for collectors (PCGS CoinFacts estimates 350 in all grades). The majority of examples are in "collector" grades VF to XF, which this handsome example is a good representation. Generally problem free circulation and pleasing eye appeal identify this CHOICE VF piece. PCGS 13, NGC 1. The last non-CAC VF25 piece to sell was back in September 2012, where one sold for nearly $2,000. The most recent was a CAC-approved example that brought $2,880 in February 2020.
