详细说明: Single Finest Certified 1917 Half Dollar 1917 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-67+ (NGC). An extraordinary condition rarity, this is the finest 1917 Walking Liberty half dollar known to the two major third party certification services. Pearlescent antique silver toning dominates both sides with speckles of bolder olive-russet patina scattered about the peripheries. Striking detail is as close to full as could realistically be expected for an early date half dollar of this design type, and the mint luster is as smooth and intense as the day the coin emerged from the dies. The second year 1917 ranks as the most readily obtainable early date (pre-1934) Walking Liberty half dollar issue in Mint State. The issue is extraordinarily popular for better date type purposes, as such, although most collectors will have to accept a coin that grades no finer than MS-65. Scarce in upper end Gem MS-66 and rare in Superb Gem MS-67, no other example seen by PCGS or NGC rivals or surpasses this MS-67+.
