- ITALY. Naples. Salut d'Or, ND (1266-78). Carlo I d'Angio (1266-85). NGC MS-62. 4.37 gms. Fr-808; Nomisma-1. Bold strike, well centered on a nice circular flan, showing full details on devices and complete readable legends with dark golden toning. Great care was taken in the making of this coin, and it has been well kept since. A terrific example of a 13th century hammered gold coin with every aspect clear and well defined.
