- JAPAN. 20 Yen, Year 9 (1920). Osaka Mint. Yoshihito (Taisho). PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. Fr-53; KM-Y-40.2; JNDA-01-6. Minimally marked as the Gem grade suggests, with a full strike and dazzling blooms of luster that enliven both sides. A better date that is extremely desirable as the only 20 Yen struck in the 1920s, and the final date prior to the extremely rare issues of Emperor Hirohito that followed in the 1930s.
