- GREAT BRITAIN. Scottish Regiments Victory Honors Bronze Medal, 1815. By Mudie. George III. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. Eimer-1081; Bramsen-1702. Bust of Scottish Highlander in ornate uniform, partly left. Inscription: "NEMO ME / IMPUNE LACESSIT" around; Reverse: Laurel and thistle wreath enclosing legend: "MDCCCI / EGYPT / PORTUGAL / SPAIN / FRANCE / BELGIUM / MDCCCXV", a listing of battlefield victories between 1801 and 1815. Part of Mudie's 1820 series of medals celebrating British military victories. A finely engraved high relief medal with intricate details and lovely smooth chocolate patina. Estimate: $200 - $300.
