1710-D French Colonies 30 Deniers, or Mousquetaire. Lyon Mint. Vlack 2, W-11710. Rarity-2. MS-63 (PCGS). CAC. Lustrous silver-gray with pale champagne-gold throughout. The surfaces are essentially mark-free except for a few light and natural striations that only show under low magnification. The overall quality and aesthetic appeal of the piece is undeniably choice. Perhaps the finest example of the design type to be offered since we (Stack's) sold the world-class Uncirculated 1710--AA Ford specimen in January 2006 is about to test your bidding mettle. We're certain, however, that interested collectors will bid aggressively for this beauty even without our urging.
