A truly SUPERB, essentially perfect GEM example of the date! Tied for FINEST graded at PCGS, one of only two that garnered the PR67+ grade. Satiny surfaces show bold, semi-reflective mirrored fields which stand out boldly with a vibrant flash on both sides. The design elements are boldly and crisply rendered. A pleasing dusting of pale, pastel iridescent toning over the silvery mirrors. Pristine quality on both sides, this coin has a beautiful eye appeal. Only 700 Proofs were struck. PCGS 24, NGC 4, CAC 5. There are just 2 graded PR67+ at the very top of the Population. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,000 and with only a non-CAC example having sold nearly four years ago, which was for a coin that did not have this coin's great looks.
