- BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1657-P. Potosi Mint, Assayer Antonia de Ergueta (E). Philip IV. PCGS VF-35. KM-18; Cal-1124. Weight: 14.60 gms. A well-preserved Cob with exceptional eye appeal. Though much peripheral detail is missing due to weak strike or the narrow planchet, this piece retains at least one of each important detail, including the mintmark, assayer's initial, denomination, and date. Its surfaces are nicely toned to a deep gunmetal gray mottled with darker hues. Quite a beautiful piece despite its modest detail. Estimate: $200 - $300.
