- MEXICO. Real, ND (1548-56)-Mo L/O. Mexico City Mint. Charles & Johanna. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, VF Details. 3.05 gms. cf. Cal-type-104#146b; cf. Nesmith-88e; KM-9. Late series. Unlisted for exact variant. Nesmith lists several L over O overassayer marks, but none with column top type D1 like the piece presented here. The overassayer is quite clear and easily visible. A decently struck piece on a mostly round planchet with minor surface porosity as indicated on the PCGS insert as "Environmental Damage".
