详细说明: This is a STUNNING, SUPERB GEM 1929-D half dollar! Needless to say, this coin ranks among the top five examples graded by both PCGS and NGC COMBINED! It is totally original and the definition of LEGEND QUALITY! A thick, satiny mint luster radiates beautifully throughout the exceptionally smooth, high end surfaces. The fields and devices are essentially perfect with just a few microscopic ticks noted with a strong glass, mentioned only for the sake of full disclosure. The lightest touch of peripheral color is also seen, but this coin would be at home in any set, including those that are exclusively untoned. The devices are razor sharp, even Liberty's hand is fully outlined and delineated. The eye appeal is off the charts; stone bold and stunning! To think that any coinage struck the year the stock market crashed, precipitating the Great Depression could have been saved is a marvel! Back when half dollars were regularly used in commerce and had some real spending power, any Mint State survivor is a prize for the collector, particularly in such a stunning, high grade.
