- 1892 Liberty Head Nickel. Proof-66+ Cameo (PCGS). CAC. A beautiful premium Gem, both sides are fully struck with satiny devices that contrast nicely with mirrored fields. Untoned apart from subtle iridescent gold highlights that are not readily evident at all viewing angles. Scarce in an absolute sense, survivors of this 2,745-piece Proof issue are rare with the superior striking quality, surface preservation and eye appeal offered here.
